Still Evolving. More on Purpose.

Hello. It’s been a minute. A rather long minute.

I’m still coaching clients who have been with me for years, along with a few new faces who have come through referrals. I still enjoy using DISC and Motivators assessments as a “get-to-know-you-before-I-coach-you” tool. I also use them with people who simply want to understand themselves better—where they thrive, what drives them, and how to communicate with the people around them.

But some things have changed.

What’s Changed?

Life brought a few changes that took my focus away from things like this blog and newsletters. During that time, I’ve done a lot of reflecting. Examining. Asking questions. And reimagining where I want to focus my time and energy moving forward.

Since I love to learn, I’ve also been putting a lot of time and energy into learning how to trade. I like it because it’s both highly analytical and highly creative. It suits my style and offers the possibility of building another source of income with flexibility for my family. I still have a lot to learn, and I’m enjoying the process.

But the biggest shift has less to do with what I’m learning and more to do with what’s guiding me.

What’s at the Center?

My Christian faith has always been part of who I am, though it hasn’t always been an obvious part of my business.

Not because I was ashamed of it. Certainly not. Sometimes it simply didn’t come up in conversation. And when working with people whose beliefs differ from mine, I’ve tried to understand what matters to them and meet them there.

I was eight years old when I was baptized and invited Jesus into my heart. I am a believer. I believe Jesus died to save me from my sins, and that through faith in Him, I’ll spend eternity in heaven. That belief isn’t new.

What has changed is how clearly I want my faith reflected in my everyday life, including my work.

I’ve never felt like I had to wear a T-shirt with a fish emblazoned on it. But my faith should be evident in how I live, how I make decisions, and how I treat people.

So I’ve made a deliberate decision to put God front and center in my life, including my business.

What Does That Mean?

It means I’ll talk about my faith more openly. It means praying before making business decisions and inviting God to guide my direction. It means looking to biblical principles as I consider what to create, what to pursue, and how to serve.

My faith has always been there. Now I want to be more intentional about putting it into practice—and more open about the role it plays.

What’s Coming?

I see a few key areas to explore:

  • Profit on Purpose: Trading and financial stewardship

  • Build on Purpose: Entrepreneurship and business

  • Grow on Purpose: Mindset and personal growth

  • Lead on Purpose: Leadership and relationships

These are topics I’ve been discussing with clients for years. As I create new materials, courses, and resources, I’ll be more deliberate about returning to THE source—the Bible—and considering how its teachings apply to the questions we face.

You can expect practical articles and resources that connect faith with everyday decisions. Choosing a next step. Building a business. Leading people well. Managing what we’ve been entrusted with. And continuing to grow through all of it.

I’ll be sharing what I’m learning along the way, too.

I’m Curious

What are you working toward? Where do you feel stuck?

Is there an area where you’re finding it difficult to put your faith into practice? A decision in your work, relationships, or finances that you’re trying to think through?

I bet we’re grappling with a lot of the same questions.
